Text Box:  VaporStake™ Installation with a polyolefin retarder

Text Box: 1. Dip the pointed end of the VaporStake™ into the Stego® Mastic.  If necessary, use a utility knife to puncture a slit in the vapor retarder.  The slit should be no larger than the diameter of the VaporStake™ being used.

Text Box: 2.  Properly align the nail holes and drive the VaporStake™ through the StegoWrap®.  The VaporStake™ can be turned while the mastic is wet, but do not turn it after the mastic has set up.

Text Box: 3.  This is what the VaporStake™ looks like when viewed under the vapor retarder.  Notice the tight, continuous, non-corrosive seal that has been created around the VaporStake™.
